On a Different Path

This is a book of stories from my own very unusual life, written specifically for and at the request of friends and family who are familiar with some of them but wanted a more complete compilation of them.  If you’re a stranger, you’re still welcome.  I've done many things, from professional SCUBA diver to deputy sheriff to various U.S. Federal counterintelligence roles to scientific/medical researcher to Federal IT manager with significant roles in all of them, and I've had many generally unexpected adventures and experiences all along the way--not just work related. I've been dead twice, but I'm still here. The stories are mostly very short but there are many, and I hope you enjoy them.
