Amazing
I’ve read all the books in this series and Max has had a part in them all, so I couldn’t wait to read his book. The broody billionaire Max, who’s always loved Lake, and he wants her. However a number of things happen before they can have time to get to know each other better. Loved the story and definitely recommend.
An introspective romance
In the final instalment of the series, R.T.B. concludes with Lake and Max's love story. Their story unfolds at a more leisurely pace, emphasizing the vulnerability and growth of both characters as they navigate the process of un-guarding their hearts to find love in each other.
While the tempo didn't entirely resonate with me, I could appreciate it for the character development. However, personally, I would have preferred a more sizzling passion in the narrative to conclude the spicy series, and to match its predecessors.
