Publisher Description
Susan was only nine when her beloved mother died. Not long after, still a tiny child, she was sent away to school. In just one year her entire world had fallen apart.
Struggling to cope so far from home, Susan pushed away the one person she loved best: her father.
Years passed, and the legacy of her tragic childhood remained as poignant as ever. But slowly, Susan understood that to overcome her grief, she had to learn to love - and trust – again.
And so began a journey of reconciliation that would change her world once more…

Hard life
Very good read and shows a young girl struggling with the loss of her mum. And how hard life could be for a father and son to cope with dealing with not only losing his wife but struggling to find his real daughter.
Best book ever
This is the most amazing book I have ever read and the fact that it is real brings a whole other side to the story. This is a great book for anyone to read for I thou rally enjoyed it at the age of 14 and my mum loved it too.
