Only I Can Fix It

Imagine that a man with little to no knowledge of history, geography or diplomacy is elected to lead the free world. Imagine also that this man is extremely reluctant to accept the advice of people with actual knowledge, preferring instead to believe conspiracy theories and his gut feelings. In his own words, "I have a gut, and my gut tells me more sometimes than anybody else's brain can ever tell me." What could go wrong?
