Truly captivating!
Devoured in one sitting! I knew very little of this story going in but was intrigued by the concept, and very quickly became totally immersed in the whirlwind of events, themes and emotions. I found the characters incredibly believable and the settings clearly imaginable (despite having never visited North America), but for me the strongest element was the intricate craftsmanship of the storytelling, every time I felt I had a handle on where things were going the rug was pulled from under my feet with another twist in the tale. A thoroughly captivating read which will stay with me, can’t wait to get to the sequel! Thank you Kellie!
