Publisher Description
They knew something was wrong when stars vanished from the sky.
They knew they were right when the sky fell down.
The Cube came to a frightened Earth from the depths of space. Its landing a disaster: occupying half the planet and killing billions. Earth fell into chaos. Societies broke down. Many turned to God for answers.
What now? Is it friend or foe? Who sent the Cube, for what purpose? Where will it attack next? Will the Cube leave, or will it stay?
Against this bleak backdrop unsavoury characters are unleashed. A racist serial rapist in China terrorises a woman. A manic drug addicted gang-lord in Moscow fights to preserve his dominance. A religious fanatic in London with a perverted mind and diabolic ideas works towards reshaping the future.
Ranged against them are reluctant Rick, courageous Martin and autistic genius Thomas, grappling to unlock the Cube’s mysteries and save mankind. But it’s a race against time. And a shocking revelation forces everyone on Earth to choose.
Customer Reviews
Outstanding! Edgy! Gripping! Fast-paced! Original!
A gripping read from start to finish.
I didn't want to put it down and I can't wait for the next instalment.
I'm a long time consumer of science fiction with a particular love of multi-volume complex-woven plot lines and the original premise in this tale and exciting narrative held my attention and laid the groundwork for what looks like a compelling series of books.
I particularly liked the 21st century attitudes to sexuality and morality as well as the levels of realism achieved in the depth & breadth of character development.
