The two stories in this collection are the start of the Cold case murder series for Pat Canella. 


Dockland murders introduces us to a young Patti, shoved in dingy office and given Cold cases to keep her happy. Patti is asked by an elderly gentleman to solve a cop-killing. It is only when she asks her Sargeant for help, that she gets told some startling news. 


In 'Back from Ohandsworth' Pat has to contend with a bully as she is forced to take leave after a gun battle ends up with her killing her former partner. On leave she has to try and rescue some bus passengers left stranded as their bus breaks down in the desert heat.
