Patience
Shadows and Moons
Moondust
Through the crack of silence
Time stood barefoot,
the words flowed like sand
and memory illuminated the shadows.
A black moon
It flickered in my gaze,
like an unspoken promise,
like a caress that didn't arrive.
I hold the thread of silence
like wool from a sad cloud
and I weave myself again
within that which does not change.
The sound of patience
it is a light that does not go out.
Dark Breaths
The first breath of the night
I caught her with my palms;
it was wet, full of algae
and words that couldn't stand.
I walked on streets without a name,
with lights that slowly fade away,
and every shadow seemed to me
like an unspoken "if".
Silence had a voice –
and it looked like my heart
when he waits without hoping,
only with perseverance.
A breath in the palm –
and disappears again.
Vigilant Windows
The windows are looking at me,
like the eyes of poems
that never ended –
open to ambiguity.
Small flames from behind
and people who don't sleep;
They carry dreams that break.
like ice cubes in hot water.
The night unfolds its blanket
and covers the strangers
with dust from the first light
which has not yet arrived.
In these houses,
Patience whispers wishes.
