In an attempt to make sense of his own mysterious and unsettling childhood memories, a man begins to reconstruct his past. As the games and adventures of his youth become engulfed by a larger story, he finds that it forms a tapestry of unbelievable horror that he never could have expected.
Each chapter completes a different piece of the puzzle for both you and the narrator, and by the end of it all, you will wish that you could forget what he never knew.

Crushed by the end of this.
:(
Apparently this is fiction - a small comfort in one of the most unsettling, devastating stories I have ever read.
Seemingly innocent chapter titles are anything but. The last chapter particularly hits hard.
Upon finishing this, I find myself feeling uncomfortable living in a house that faces a wooded area. I am also entirely put off having children for life. Happy reading.
Boring AF
Story about an 8yo that reads like an 8yo wrote it. Takes 80 pages for one important thing to happen, and the rest is useless details all over the place.
