Physics

Physics is, in some senses, the oldest and most basic pure science; its discoveries find applications throughout the natural sciences, since matter and energy are the basic constituents of the natural world. 

Physics  developed out of philosophy, and was thus referred to as natural philosophy until the late 19th century - a term describing a field of study concerned with "the workings of nature". 

There is a lot to be found in the history of physics that can make instruction at all levels, from elementary school to university, interesting and  really enjoyable.

The aim of this book is to show, using a historical approach, the majors steps in the discoveries in physics, starting, in this volume, from classical mechanics.
