Pilgrimage

This little book of Christian poetry is called Pilgrimage because it's a journey into the faith that I hold dear. There are three sections: Journeys, Experiences and Stories, each with a short prayer. Just as a pilgrimage is about more than walking this book is more than just religious poems. Journeys tells Bible stories chronologically in a quite literal way, while Experiences explores the feelings of our journey, taking in some of the viewpoints. Stories tells the tales of our journey without the constraints of reality, just as travellers might embellish a true story for their listeners. Hopefully just as with a real pilgrimage you will get more than just one journey from this book.
