Victor Hugo (1802-1885) was a French writer  and poet mostly known for his epic novel 'Notre-Dame de Paris'. Victor Hugo is considered the founding father of the French romanticism. Hugo also made a successful attempt of becoming an artrist as well, his legacy in that field counts up to more than 4000 drawings. 


This is the collection book of poems by Victor Hugo that was initially published in 1888. Hugo's delicate poetry was the very thing that brought him success long before 'Notre-Dame'.
