Things are going great for Wanda Atkins. She's almost finished with her Master's degree, she's finally moved out on her own, and the cute deputy in their small coastal town wants to spend time with her. If only she wasn't a murder suspect.

Deputy Jack Kelly isn't concerned about the Atkins curse, or the fact that the whole town believes Wanda and her family are witches. It's the bit about her motive, opportunity, and the evidence at the murder scene that's most bothersome.

He has faith she'll find the real killer. It helps that she can talk to ghosts.
