Heathfield Community College is a high performing secondary school and sixth form in East Sussex. Heathfield is a happy and successful environment where all members of our College are proud of our inspirational and ambitious community.
All students in years 7-11 use an iPad as part of our 1:1 digital learning strategy. We use the iPad as a tool to create new opportunities for teaching and learning and redefine the learning experience of our students. It has allowed us to develop a dynamic learning environment combining innovative practices for both learning and teaching. The technology supports our innovative approach to learning and we have moved from simply exploring how technology can enhance the classroom to integrating it within our day to day practice.
In this book we explore how iPad is being used to enhance student learning, the impact it has on student success and how we are developing our environment to maximise the potential of the iPad.
