When Bastian Gregor, fierce captain of the Alpha's Guard, permits a beautiful young woman to escape a facility where horrific crimes against his own Therion people are being committed, he unknowingly releases an ancient predator into an unsuspecting world.  Now, racked by guilt, ashamed of his failure, he believes she is everything he despises—an uncontrollable beast with a thirst for blood, and vows to hunt Eve and make her pay the ultimate price for her crimes.
