Project 1848: Cosmos Guidebook Proposal for a Multiparticipant Research Program and Experiment Based Around the Year 1848

This is a proposal for a multidisciplinary project that examines the time period around 1848 [approximately 1842 to 1852] through a variety of approaches and uses a broad spectrum of methodologies and data to examine it in areas such as culture, history, the sciences, daily living, and in another way almost through the cosmos itself.
