This is a story with a difference. The characters were like real people one of whom had suffered indescribable abuse at the hands of her mother but had turned out to be the sweetest person the other a Navy Seal with father issues but who saw his role to protect and serve. The two met and started on a love affair which because the author has written with such realism inevitably hit a wall from which they may have struggled to recover.
I enjoyed this story. It was like reading about real people living everyday lives and was very believable because of that.
I am looking forward to the next book in the series.
A bit dead
I just couldn't take it seriously, characters were underdeveloped, dialogue was cheesy and some of it just didn't add up!
No life
This does not happen often, but I could not finish this book. It is so sweet and naive, the characters have absolutely no life in them and the conversation is stilted.
