Brilliant Series!!
Another fabulous instalment in the Kilted Hearts series (#4) although it could be read as a standalone it is more fun if you have read the series and know all the other characters.
Isobel / Elizabeth is on the run from an increasingly dangerous situation, disappearing in the night and getting lost and car wrecked in a storm. Ewan is former special ops, and although he is now a bar / pub owner, he can’t seem to help wanting to protect her.
They move in together for protection, but their domestic routine quickly evolves into something more. As the relationship grows, so does the danger for Isobel, and Ewan’s desire to keep her safe. This was a gripping and heart-warming read and each book in the series just keeps getting better.
I don’t know how a book can leave you completely satisfied and at the same time desperate for more! I can’t wait for the next instalment.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
