Fantastique MAIS trop trop sort le dénouement
Ce Roman ci et un vrai tour de force. It’s ‘false start’ is a stroke of genius, which wioll allow her to play with the key character, Danglard, ;later on. Then Vargas explores an extraordinary range of characters in vivid depth, both the entire detective crew, each differentiated in their skill and importance in the working out of the plot; so are the suspects. She unites her Adamsberg series with the Three Apostles and even treats is to an archaeological dig. The twists in the plot are brilliantly handled and kept me fascinated and anxious all the way through. I would have given five starts but for one thing: the villain was becoming obvious too early for me. Pardon que je n’aie pas écrit en Français. Vargas m’a fait souvent courir pour ma Larousse. Ça valiait la peine, mais je m’exprimerais trop mal en sa lange.
