Retired bank manager George Pearmain is, apparently, dead. According to the behaviour of everyone around him, it would seem that he is no more. Page turner...
I loved this book. Reading it into the early hours, constantly trying to solve the mystery of who and why...? And narrated, so to speak, from such an unusual perspective. A really good read, thank you.
