It is 1940 and Britain is fighting alone against the Germans. With the RAF fighting above the skies of England it is down to the Commandos to go back to France and cause as much trouble to the Germans as possible. When the Italians join in alongside the Germans it seems that Britain is about to sink beneath a sea of Fascists.

Comic book capers
This second in the series and this follows the familiar pattern of boys own heroics for our fledgling Commandos. These aren’t complex storylines, just comic book capers, where our protagonists can do little wrong. Our hero is multilingual, a pilot, a sailor, an athlete, a marksman, a mechanic, an engineer . At night he can pick off targets 80m away with a 9mm Luger whose effective range is 50m. Fiction this maybe. Historically accurate it is not.
