Youngest doesn't want to leave the only place she's ever considered home.
Oldest doesn't want to know for a fact that their parents are dead.
She relies on her faith but is afraid to lose it. So, they leave.
Gideon is in Colorado with his friends since high school.
They had planned to go to Blackwell University in Kansas.
Colorado was where they were celebrating that they got in.
It's a tough university to get in.
