Daphne du Maurier’s Gothic romance hasn’t gone out of print since it was first published in 1938, and with good reason. Rebecca absolutely shimmers with ominous dread, supernatural paranoia, and steadily increasing suspense. Have read Rebecca in a few days. Fantastic book. Makes you glad women fought for the vote. Take a chance read it and enjoy
