Disaster strikes the history banks of the United Forces Federation when a rogue time-traveler threatens to change the course of history and the outcome of the Civil War.
Augustus McIntyre, history professor turned fugitive, begins a one-man journey through time on a path of greed and murder. Earlier, the Federation entrusted him with protecting the integrity of history—the history of the American Civil War, 1861-1865.

McIntyre learns that a sizeable hoard of Confederate gold was entrusted to his ancestors but then captured by Union troops. McIntyre’s lingering anger against Lincoln’s Union sets him on a path to set things right, no matter the cost. Assuming the fictitious identity of characters on both sides, he glibly talks his way through the Virginia countryside and into the hearts of several unsuspecting women.

The chase for the imposter McIntyre follows a trail of murder, mayhem, and deceit. Tyler and Annie step into a dangerous quest to neutralize the cunning traveler. Will they be able to restore history—or could they be thrust into another dimension of time?
