Hilarious and heart-warming. The perfect romantic read!
How do you know if you’ve found Mr Perfect or Mr Perfectly Useless?
Jess Willersey realised things with Martin weren’t perfect, but it’s still a shock when he leaves. Is she destined to a singleton lifestyle with only her cat for company, or could a certain hat-astrophic encounter with a handsome stranger at a rather unusual wedding signal a turning point?
At the same time, Jess’s best friends and work colleagues, Maggie and Sarah, are going through their own personal disasters – from shocking family revelations to dodgy dating app-related drama.
To top it all off, it seems that the handsome stranger won’t remain a stranger – and when Neil Jackson turns up at the friends’ offices with yet another bombshell, how long will he stay ‘Mr Perfect’ in Jess’s eyes?
Fun story with great characters
I had really enjoyed this author’s first novel and so was looking forward to her next novel - I was certainly not disappointed! Great characters, some unexpected twists and a fun story! Highly recommend!
Does Mr Perfect exist?
Jessie would never have thought that Mr Perfect may come in the form of a management consultant, working on behalf of the person that wants to buy off the company she works for. But one thing leads to another and there is more than meets the eye in Neil Jackson… but as always love is not easy and you need to read the book if you want to find out if Neil is indeed perfect…
Anni Rose has followed her first book Recipe for Mr Right with Recipe for Mr Perfect, both are worthy of 5* rating.
Three women, Maggie, Jess and Sarah, although spending years working closely together in an account's office of a small family business, have generally kept their personal lives private.
Suddenly each woman experiences a dramatic change in her home life. Maggie is grieving after the death of her mother. Jess Willersey's long term partner Martin, unexpectedly leaves her for another woman. And Sarah, who's searching for Mr Right, once again discovers she's dating Mr Couldn't Be Worse.
Their individual crises brings them together and they form a close friendship, each encouraging or even persuading each other to achieve their dream.
This is a delightful romantic comedy about three women who find love where they least expected.
Ideal entertainment for a wet afternoon.
