Reckless Enchantment

When a freak farmers' market fire brings scientist Sierra Watanabe to the attention of herbalist and mage Bruna Strand, Sierra seizes the chance to study the magic she was taught to silence—and to cure the disease that stole her mother's life.

Then she meets the Mage's son. For brooding and watchful, Mason Strand, Sierra is like a spell he can't decipher. Convinced his mother's new apprentice is more powerful than she lets on, Mason is determined to extract the truth from Sierra … by any means.

But his search for answers leads him to cast a forbidden spell that reveals secrets he was never meant to know. When Sierra discovers the betrayal, forgiveness should be impossible. The trouble is, secrets grow like weeds, and Mason's are too addictive to ignore.

And as the twisted vine of Sierra's magical lineage unfurls, Sierra and Mason discover the legacy she inherited is far greater—and more dangerously coveted—than either of them imagined.
