Hard work due to repetitive and poor grammar
It has a lovely plot, but the grammar was poor. The language was basic and very very repetitive. Parts of the story were totally unnecessary and quite frankly dull.
Shame as the plot its self was very sweet and leads you perfectly into the second book in the series although if it’s as poorly written, I won’t be buying anymore books by this author.
Rescued by the captain
I found this book difficult to read. Poor grammar and bad editing. The language is too modern for the time. The heroine, Ivy, is ridiculous, there is nothing to like about her.
