A resort community in the Mojave Desert! A city who lost its way, until awakened by its new basketball coach and resurgent high school basketball team. In telling the story of the high school team's rise from obscurity; the author takes the time to educate his readers on some of America's history which is not widely known or shared in most history books. He highlights some prominent Americans rarely discussed in classrooms k-12. The author intends to educate and inform his readers, and leave them with a message, you too can rise up and take your rightful place in society.
