Marvellous
Very good to see a strong minded person in that time.👏👍
Principled good fun
A great little conclusion to a previous story, full of poetry, good humour, and excellent excerpts from fine philosophers to give the reader much food for thought. When a book leaves the reader honestly longing and trying to be better and read better, it can't be bad. Just realistic enough as a study of life, human emotion and love, sometimes happy and sometimes sad, to make the desired, inevitable conclusion worth reaching. So often the baser side of humanity is highlighted in modern fiction that it is nice to find a novel acknowledging that it is possible to write something worth reading that can hold the attention without relying on gore, pain or fear to keep the reader keen until the end. Great for young and refreshing for us middle-aged folks with unfulfilled dreams and desires from our youth.
