I traced his lips with my finger, fascinated by their velvety softness, even though he was made from stone. Leaning in, I bridged the distance between our mouths and kissed him. Another groan sounded from him, and suddenly, his lips moved under mine, and he kissed me back.
I moaned into the kiss as his strong arms surrounded me, and he pulled me against his stone body. This must be a dream. But if it was, I would take full advantage of it and enjoy every second.
I opened my mouth, coaxing his lips with my tongue until he opened his. Another earth-trembling groan came from him as our tongues met. He tasted like a tall glass of water after a hot summer's day and a cool breeze on my heated skin. It was everything I dreamed of and so much more. His tongue was wet, soft, and cold in my mouth. It took only a moment for him to take charge of the kiss and devour me.
"Mine," he growled against my lips, and a shiver of delight washed over me.
"Mine," I moaned back.
