I wish I hadn’t procrastinated reading this book series.
From start to finish, I was gripped. The hopelessness was palpable and I don’t know how any of the MCs could stand it, but I hoped with them anyway. It was very inspiring and the amount of death, grief and loss gave the characters some much needed reality and the stakes felt higher than I’ve ever known for a book of this genre. The ended was spectacularly written, the ‘after’ had me crying both happy and frustrated tears. Some of it was fairly predictable, and it was a little similar to the first book, but that didn’t make the emotional impact any lesser. If you’re debating reading, don’t hesitate as I did.

Best of the trilogy
I think this was my favourite of the three books loved the story and thought it was a perfect ending for the series
