Not What I Was Expecting
This story tells how Lorna's life was irrevocably changed after she became a widow at 41. She never saw it coming, her life was happy she and her husband of twenty years had 3 grown-up kids who were all attending college Nicholas was the oldest then there were the twins Jenifer and Jacob. But at the Funeral she learned something that would affect her deeply.....
This story was so well written, it deals with loss and starting over, learning to trust your judgement and finding friendship and love in your 40s. This was not what I was expecting but I loved it.
One for ladies of a certain age
I loved this book. It makes a refreshing change to read about women 40+. This is the first in a series about three women Lorna, Vivien and Heather who find that they have magical abilities. Lorna’s story is the first and it is not until the death of her husband Glenn that she finds her marriage of twenty years was fake as he was already married. Bruised and battered she moves to Freecove to manage a theatre owned by Heather. She finds herself drawn to Heather’s brother William but can she really herself up again? One day she hears Heather talking to her grandmother Julia in the theatre. But the thing is Julia is dead! There are plenty of twists and turns in this enthralling paranormal romance as the three friends fight ghosts and demons before Lorna and William find their HEA. Can’t wait for the next story.

Betrayal, SecondChance and Some Magic
I received this in return for an honest review. I have been really enjoying the Fab13 PWF books and this was no exception. It had me hooked right from the very beginning - I didn’t expect the betrayal at the start and it really made me feel and connect with Lorna. I enjoyed the developing relationships between, Lorna, Heather and Vivien. Such a really lovely story where heartbreak and grief brings these three ladies together and Lorna finds herself with a second chance. Brilliant start to a new series and well worth a listen.
