Secrets my mother kept
I so enjoyed reading this book, so much that I had difficulty putting it down.
It also stirred memories for me in that I still do not know who the father of my sister was, she is no longer with us, even she did not know who he was and the one person who could have helped has recently passed away, but I did not know she knew until it was too late.
Dragging
It’s an ok book but although it started out great you find nothing out until the last chapters! It would throw you a bone and then jump to different time line without warning, a bit confusing at times and after all that it gets at the end and wraps up in a hurry…. It would have been great as a short story

Fantastic read. Such a hard, yet true upbringing. I felt part of the story.
