After a tsunami causes massive devastation to a tropical island, its governor sends in the bulldozers to knock down villages, replacing them with luxury hotels.
Guarding the corrupt governor's family isn't James Adams' idea of the perfect mission, especially as it's going to be his last as a CHERUB agent. And then retired colleague Kyle Blueman comes up with an unofficial and highly dangerous plan of his own.
James must choose between loyalty to CHERUB, and loyalty to his oldest friend.
For official purposes, these children do not exist.

Been reading this series for the best part of 5 years, absolutely must must must read, but from the first book to last!
Writer sold out
I love Cherub to bits I have gone through the original books over and over but I have to say this was a extremely disappointing end to James's story.
1. It went on to long with Kyle's chapters it needed to get to the point much quicker.
2. It was a stupid mission. After everything he has been through it should of been something extremely memorable not some silly little guard detail.
3. In the description before I bought it was that James got to finally meet his dad. Turns out we didn't even get a proper end to that and as for him writing a book about maths that James so happened to need for uni is poor. Looking at James mum and background that is just stupid.
I felt that this was more about the money and cashing in on the name rather than about writing something truly amazing to end on. Really disappointed and felt that this should of been the final CHERUB book not create a whole new series.
I have finished the series and have to say that it is the best series I have ever read. Cherub is ideal for teenagers
