Publisher Description
The Orphic Guild doesn't just buy occult treasures. Sometimes it steals them.
Shadow and Gabe are finding their feet in the world of occult hunting — and it suits them perfectly. Shadow has centuries of fey cunning and absolutely no moral objections to breaking and entering. Gabe and his six Nephilim brothers have skills that make most enemies deeply regret their life choices.
But when Harlan Beckett sends Shadow in to steal an ancient map, she's not alone. Someone else is after the same thing — and they're just as good at taking what doesn't belong to them.
The map is the first piece of the Trinity of the Seeker: three objects that together reveal a hidden temple and the means to speak directly to angels. For their mysterious client, it's an obsession. For Gabe, it's something far more personal — a possible way to reach the father he has never stopped searching for.
The trouble is, the Order of Lilith wants the Trinity too. And they have no intention of playing fair.
Neither does Shadow.
The second book in the White Haven Hunters urban fantasy series delivers the same razor-sharp wit and relentless action fans loved in Book One — with the stakes cranked considerably higher.

Treasure hunt not for the faint hearted!
Fantastic book!
TJ never fails to deliver and this is another in the long line of successes!
Loved the depth of characters, the relationships between them developing and the mystery about their past.
Treasure hunt, meets Christian myth, meets magic, meets mystery and the result is explosive!
When’s the next one out......?
Another late night because I couldn’t put it down…
Shadow and the Nephilim are still working for the Orphic Guild. They have a new treasure to find that takes them on a quest that requires the Nephilim to look to their own history and be faced with some difficult, uncomfortable situations with what they find. The story expands not only their history, but continues to reveal more about the Orphic Guild and conflict with rival companies which put them all in danger. This was a great read, and the cause of yet another late night reading into the wee small hours as I couldn’t leave it! Now greedily waiting for the next one…
