Publisher Description
Lies aren't her only weapons against the fae...
In the Halow system, one of Earth’s three sister star systems, tek and magic—humans and fae—are at war.
Kesh Lasota is a ghost in the machine. Invisible to tek, she’s hired by the criminal underworld to carry illegal messages through the Halow system. But when one of those messages kills its recipient, Kesh finds herself on the run with a bounty on her head and a quick-witted marshal on her tail.
Proving her innocence should be straightforward. Until a warfae steals the evidence she needs. The fae haven’t been seen in Halow in over a thousand years. And this one—a brutally efficient killer able to wield tek—should not exist. But neither should Kesh.
As Kesh’s carefully crafted lie of a life crumbles around her, she knows being invisible is no longer an option. To hunt the warfae, to stop him from destroying a thousand-year fragile peace, she must resurrect the horrors of her past.
Kesh Lasota was a ghost. Now she’s back, and there’s only one thing she knows for certain: Nobody shoots the messenger and gets away with it.

Outstanding series
I actually felt like standing up and applauding when I finished this book, it was “Intense” “Exceptional” “Ingenious” “Invigorating “Abundant” and definitely “Movie Worthy”. Pipppa DaCosta has managed to create a fresh , inventive novel showing yet again her creativity. Each individual character was clearly outlined as they was introduced, but all seemed to have there own secret scheme. The twists and turns was like screwing a bottle top off. You would make one impression then it would be torn up and thrown to the wind. The magnetic hold this book had on me was un-relenting, when I wasn’t reading it, the story continued to play through my head like a song stuck in my brain. Therefore it didn’t take long for me to finish it, as i struggled to put it down. The author had cleverly atmosphered the novel for added chills, and each place the storyline took part in was easy to envisage and believe. It’s hard when I don’t want to give away any spoilers. So I Will try and some up if I can. The elements of Fantasy and Sci-Fi are bought together to create a spell binding story with suspense abundant, it also shows vulnerability along the hard edge of each character, so much so that the ending was so unsuspected and inventive, that amongst the disbelief, I had tears of grief for a thread I hoped would happen. But was absolutely brilliant. Fantastic start to a new series.
