Shortstop Sadie

The story of Shortstop Sadie tells a tale of a neighborhood dog full of tricks.

She performs many tricks on demand and yet learns the game of baseball from the boys that gather in her yard to play. Soon, she claims the position of shortstop, and the boys compete against her quickness when the batter hits the ball. Who knows what Sadie will do if she snatches up the ball before another player? If Sadie gets the ball, the game has just begun!
