There's something a bit weird about Ralph's new neighbour, Jack Bilt, and it isn't long before Ralph finds out the strange secret. Jack Bilt has managed to get his hands on a powerful miniaturisation device and has been using it on people! He's been moving around the country to hide the fact that he has created a mini work-force to work on a miniaturised house. Full of imagination, charming humour, and witty remarks, 'Shrinking Ralph Perfect' was a delightful read that children, and adults who enjoy the style and drama of child's lit will enjoy. Full of engaging characters, fascinating enigmatic occurrences, and exciting situations guaranteed to have you gritting your teeth, the author does a wonderful job of creating a fantastical, but ultimately believable tale.
Ralph Perfect is an ordinary boy, plain and simple, yet when strange things begin to occur on his street, and a mysterious and sinister builder, Jack Bilt, moves in next door, Ralph comes face to face with terrifying devices, minituatized people, ghosts, giant insects, and marmalade!
