In Atheria, Patyna has dedicated her life to the Defenders of the Forbidden City, where ancient evils remain sealed away. When cultists breach the first of seven mystical barriers containing the vampire goddess Cius, undead armies rise and spread across the land.

Racing to protect the remaining seals, Patyna reluctantly allies with Briar, a skilled warrior with his own vendetta against the cult. But a terrifying truth emerges—Patyna's bloodline connects her directly to the goddess, making her both the key to Cius's return and potentially her downfall.
