Great read
So Alex is a good guy doing bad things to keep people safe.
Celina is desperate to save her niece by any means necessary even if that means being an escort. Lucky for her Mak didn't believe she was in the right job and sends Alex to test her.
That choice changes everything, Alex knows something is fishy but Celina won't say, so he does some digging and realises she is in real danger; lucky for her he has the power to save and her niece.
Celina is a balm to Alex's nightmares and he has her complete trust. He doesn't understand at first why she means so much to him, when he does he realises he can't have her in his life. This proves true in his eyes when an attack at moons home leaves him injured.
He may have sent her away but she realises she needs him more than her niece who has a whole support network even without her.
It's an great journey for them to realise they love each other and that they are better together.
