APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
This gripping psychological drama follows marketing executive Anna Willis, who’s at the wheel of her car when two of her passengers (both colleagues) are killed in an accident. Anna’s coworkers’ deaths are not her fault, but her guilt drives her to quit her high-flying career in London and decamp to a remote island. There, she starts working in a hotel and attempts to rebuild her life. One major, terrifying problem: Anna’s convinced a dangerous stalker has tracked her down. C.L. Taylor masterfully builds the suspense to the point where you almost feel hunted yourself, and without any idea how Anna can escape the clutches of her abuser. An intricate, devastating look at the power of guilt, grief and revenge.

Really enjoyed this book but did find that the ending fell a bit flat. Some great characters who kept me hooked, a great read.
An utterly compelling read!
Another fantastic dark twisted section of CL.Taylors mind down on paper. I got totally immersed in this book from the start. Every opportunity to read I took it even two minutes. It really was so difficult to put down,
but it didn’t go far just in my handbag or my pocket.
A labyrinth of storylines to follow and dissect to try and work out , knowing full well I won’t because I am a reader not a writer of this calibur.!
This will be a gift I will give to everyone, some because they’ll love it and some just to play with their minds.
CL.Taylor is an author who just keep on providing us with awesome literature , bravo!
Grips you from start to finish!
Another riveting read from C.L.Taylor! Her books just keep getting better and better! This is the most suspenseful thriller I’ve read for a long time!
The setting on the remote island of Rum off the west coast of Scotland during the mother of all storms is extremely atmospheric! Full of creepy twists that you don’t see coming, this kept me guessing until the very end. I kept changing my mind and in the end I suspected the wrong person!
Leaving London behind in order to escape from a devastating fateful night which left her traumatised and unable to sleep, Anna endeavours to rid herself of her guilt and create a new life for herself by relocating to Rum and taking up a position as an hotel receptionist. But someone is stalking her and the nightmare begins, with the trickle of seven guests arriving throughout the day. Each has their own secret to hide and their own reason for being there with the lies and deceit coming thick and fast. One of them is a killer. This disturbing, riveting plot provides a rollercoaster of a read. My eyes kept flying off the page trying to keep up with the words as I couldn’t read fast enough to satisfy my mind! Read it well into the night – if you dare!
