Pete Slone had always gotten along just fine without his conscience, and then he met Sandra Keaten. Employing her might be the smartest thing Pete's ever done, or the most dangerous. She drags her drooling Newfoundland to work, threatens his precious car, and still manages to keep his appointments in order. When the deal of the century forces Pete to make some uncomfortable changes, he drags an unwilling Ms. Keaten into a twisted web of humorous adventure.
