The Soldier
The delightful thing about both books The Heir and The Soldier is the heroes are human, honest men willing to share and show their emotions. Their stories are interesting and they are strong without being immovable in the beliefs. The heroines are strong women as well but loving wholeheartedly. It is the first book I have read where the heroes cry brokenheartedly for what might have been. Very much an unputdownable book. Just bought the final book in the trilogy and cannot wait to read it.
