Natalyn Speshnev returns from her acting career in Paris for her father Alexei Speshnevfuneral in Petersburg Russia to discover from his executor and her lover, Misha that she has a long lost sister Natasha. She sets out on a six year odyssey to find Natasha during the most tumultuous era of Russia’s history. Her friend Alberta, a gypsy, saves her life by means of sex and murder, while Misha deserts the army to begin his search for her. The house of the Romanov Tsar Nicholas begins to crumble as the Great War decimates the country. Lenin, Trotsky and Stalin bring with dramatic change in government famine and civil war upon Russia during her search. With her famous name of Speshnev, can she escape to China before it is too late?
