When a failed liberation attempt disrupts the Marius 516 mining base on Ganymede, clone worker Fowler 3085 is marked for termination. Fleeing with other workers as their behavior-suppressing drugs wear off, they experience consciousness for the first time while discovering the horrifying truth: all clones are incinerated when no longer useful.
