Can even the most seasoned traveller find a home on Rendezvous Lane?

‘Community spirit’ is not a phrase in travel junkie Taran Rossi’s vocabulary. As a former ‘third culture kid’ and now spicy street food connoisseur and social media influencer, he’s never really stayed in one place long enough to feel part of a community. And that’s just the way he likes it.

But a springtime stint house sitting for his grandmother on Rendezvous Lane in East Nashville could lead to a long overdue wake-up call. With the help of single mum Sandy Warner and her young son Chip, can Taran come to understand that sometimes it’s not about the place – it’s about the people?

Great story and characters, loved it!

I love Angela’s stand alone novels and her latest certainly did not disappoint. Good looking Taran is addicted to world travel and finding new spicy foods for his blog. Sandy is building roots in East Nashville with her (cute) son Chip as she wants stability. Could 2 people with such different lifestyles possibly fall in love? Can they overcome all the hurdles that life (including families, well meaning friends and neighbours and of course a local property developer) can throw at them? I had a smile on my face throughout the whole novel as I was sucked into the world of Rendezvous Lane. Highly recommend!

Don't read this when hungry!

Single mother Sandy Warner moved to a small town in Tennessee, exchanging travelling for a settled life with her five year old son.

Sandy's quiet life is shaken when Taran Rossi temporarily moves in next door while her neighbour Beth, Taran's grandmother, is away recuperating after serious surgery. Taran has spent twenty years moving from one county to another, earning his living as a food connoisseur and blogger. Once his grandmother is fully recovered he intends to resume his wandering lifestyle.

The attraction between Sandy and Taran is immediate but how can they manage a life together when she's put down roots for her son and Taran prefers an unencumbered roaming existence.

An intriguing book about a charming small town with constant comments about food, the reader will become very hungry.
