McKenzie has had a crush on Ace for years. Ace has been obsessed with her for years too but feels unworthy of her, for one, he is her fathers best friend since childhood and two he has had a traumatic time as a kid and a soldier which has affected him deeply. He is possessive to the point of stalking her that when he sees her with another man he has no choice but to act on his desires. A steamy short read with a grumpy/possessive mountain man and a sweet but strong woman. Great characters and network of friends, can’t wait for Gingers story, she sounds a hoot.
