Typical zahn. Thrilling gap filling and a wonderful addition to the star wars universe adding depth to all our favourite characters. A good read.
Not read Timothy Zahn Star Wars since the 90’s
Timothy Zahn is by far my favourite Star Wars author - his character development is brilliant. His Thrawn is far superior to the Disney version. Such a shame the Heir to the Empire trilogy never got to live action. It was great to read small snippets about Talon Karde and fantastic to follow Mara Jade at work. I had suspected Jade would have been darker than she is in this book - but then she isn’t dealing with the death of her master yet! If Timothy Zahn writes a follow on - I’m one old school Star Wars geek who will be reading it.
