Really good book
Any book featuring a hunt through the underbelly of a city where the main characters are avoiding mythic creatures, gang violence and crime whilst evading the single most determined assassin to exist is always going to be a win read for me.
Throw in the fact that the city is the planet Coruscant, the main characters are Jedi and the relentless assassin is Darth Maul, this may well be one of the best stories ever made!
Star Wars meets terminator
A book that leads directly into episode 1. Darth maul gets sent on a mission to find and silence a member of the trade federation who plans to expose the plans of the sith and the impending blockade of naboo. This book shines when focusing on maul and his hunt, in which maul will not be stopped by anything or anyone in his way which gave me terminator vides which was nice seeing this side of Star Wars, however I found this book really slowed down in the second half and some really stupid decisions by some of the characters near the very end. All in all it’s a decent read and seeing more darth maul is never a bad thing.
