Dominic Kane built his career on control. A new unit shouldn't threaten that.

The Order's assignments don't come with disclaimers, so when Dominic gets handed Jax, Riot, and Elias, he expects the usual adjustment period. A little friction, then compliance. That's how it goes. These three don't follow that pattern. They push back from the first briefing, loud and deliberate, the kind of defiance that's personal rather than procedural. By the end of the first session, Dominic's iron grip on the room has developed cracks he didn't put there.

Then the protocol activates.
